Chemical Traders and Distributors Association was arised in 1998 as a commission of Association of Chemical Industry of the Czech Republic. In autumn 2003 the independent Chemical Traders and Distributors Association of the Czech Republic - SCHOD ČR was established. It is the regular member of European Chemical Trade Federation FECC, International Council of Chemical Trade Associations ICCTA and associated member of Association of Chemical Industry of the Czech Republic - SCHP ČR. Recently it has fifteen member companies.

Eight member companies of the Chemical Traders and Distributors Association of the Czech Republic have obtained the right to use the RC logo. Arnaud Česká, s.r.o., Brenntag CR, s.r.o. and Nordmann Rassmann Czech Republic, s.r.o. were granted the right in 2003 and reconfirmed it in 2005. Next three member companies Krátoška-Chemin, s.r.o., Lach-Ner, s.r.o. and Ing.Petr Švec-Penta obtained the right to use the Responsible Care logo in 2005. Alchimica was certificated in 2006 and confirmed his rights in 2008. During the year 2007 reconfirmed the right to use the RC logo companies Krátoška-Chemin, s.r.o., Lach-Ner, s.r.o.and Ing.Petr Švec-Penta for the first time and Arnaud-Česká, s.r.o, Brenntag CR, s.r.o. and Nordmann Rassmann Czech Republic, s.r.o. for the third time. Companies Arnaud-Česká and Brenntag CR have obtained the right to use the RC logo for three years period. Four member companies (Krátoška Chemin, s.r.o., Lach-Ner, s.r.o., Nordmann Rassmann Czech Republic, s.r.o. and Ing. Petr Švec – Penta) defended the rights in 2007 and again in 2009 of which Nordmann Rassmann for three years period. Newly was certificated company Barentz in 2009. Four member companies intend to adopt RC programme in the next year.
