Adress: Chemical Traders and Distributors Association was arised in 1998 as a commission of Association of Chemical Industry of the Czech Republic. In autumn 2003 the independent Chemical Traders and Distributors Association of the Czech Republic - SCHOD ČR was established. It is the regular member of European Chemical Trade Federation FECC, International Council of Chemical Trade Associations ICCTA and associated member of Association of Chemical Industry of the Czech Republic - SCHP ČR. Recently it has fifteen member companies.

Nine member companies of the Chemical Traders and Distributors Association of the Czech Republic have obtained the right to use the RC logo. Azelis Czech Republic, s.r.o., Brenntag CR, s.r.o. and Nordmann Rassmann Czech Republic, s.r.o. were granted the right in 2003 and reconfirmed it in 2005. Next two member companies Krátoška-Chemin, s.r.o., Lach-Ner, s.r.o. obtained the right to use the Responsible Care logo in 2005. Alchimica was certificated in 2006 and confirmed his rights in 2008. During the year 2007 reconfirmed the right to use the RC logo companies Krátoška-Chemin, s.r.o., Lach-Ner, s.r.o. for the first time and Azelis Czech Republic, s.r.o, Brenntag CR, s.r.o. and Nordmann Rassmann Czech Republic, s.r.o. for the third time. Companies Azelis Czech Republic and Brenntag CR have obtained the right to use the RC logo for three years period. Three member companies (Krátoška Chemin, s.r.o., Lach-Ner, s.r.o., Nordmann Rassmann Czech Republic, s.r.o. ) defended the rights in 2007 and again in 2009 for three years period. Company Barentz has been certificated in 2009. In 2010 confirmed the right to use the logo companies Azelis Czech Republic and Brenntag for four years and Alchimica for three years.Newly was certificated company HSH-Chemie. In 2011 was certificated company Euro-Šarm and company Barentz reconfirmed its rights. Certificates were given at a Ceremony on the „Evening of Czech Chemistry“.

The Responsible Care Programme is implemented and assessed by means of the Steering Committee of the Association of Chemical Industry of the Czech Republic, of which the representative of SCHOD ČR is a member. For the realization of the Responsible Care Programme a joint programme was created on the basis of a Partnership Agreement among SCHOD ČR, SCHP ČR, FECC and CEFIC. The Guide for Responsible Care Assessment – verbatim „Odpovědné podnikání v chemii“ – which includes 36 assessment criteria was published.
