Company profile:
Porta Ltd., established in 1994, became important supplier of specialties to chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food industries.

Activities of Porta Ltd. are oriented mainly towards representation of foreign companies (e.g. Akzo Nobel, General Electric Bayer Silicones, Degussa/Peroxid Chemie, Occidental Chemical/OxyChem, Durez, Indspec, Janssen Pharmaceutica, MEL, SQM) and distribution of their products on the Czech market. Web pages are, therefore, focusing on the Czech customers first of all. On the other hand our company is the exporting arm of Czech customs manufacturing and toll synthesis companies see our general product list "Custom Syntheses and Chemical Specialties".

The Responsible Care Programme is implemented and assessed by means of the Steering Committee of the Association of Chemical Industry of the Czech Republic, of which the representative of SCHOD ČR is a member. For the realization of the Responsible Care Programme a joint programme was created on the basis of a Partnership Agreement between SCHOD ČR, SCHP ČR, FECC and CEFIC. The Guide for Responsible Care Assessment – verbatim „Odpovědné podnikání v chemii“ – which includes 36 assessment criteria was published.
