Trans Europe Chemicals s.r.o. was founded in July 1998 and is a daughter company of Swedish Chemapol Scandinavia AB in Stockholm. Number of employees is 3 persons and the turnover 1999 was 0.6 million of EUR. Budgeted turnover for 2000 was 0.65 million of EUR.
The main activity is import of chemicals for sales and distribution in the Czech and Slovak Republics but the company has also expanded into Hungarian market.
Trans Europe Chemicals s.r.o. is agent for organic peroxides and organic pigments from Germany and PVC compound from France. Company is mostly active in raw materials for the plastics and rubber industry as well as for glass and paints & varnishes industries.

The Responsible Care Programme is implemented and assessed by means of the Steering Committee of the Association of Chemical Industry of the Czech Republic, of which the representative of SCHOD ČR is a member. For the realization of the Responsible Care Programme a joint programme was created on the basis of a Partnership Agreement between SCHOD ČR, SCHP ČR, FECC and CEFIC. The Guide for Responsible Care Assessment – verbatim „Odpovědné podnikání v chemii“ – which includes 36 assessment criteria was published.
